Congratulations L.I.F.E. Scholarship Finalists for the academic year of 2022/23!

L.I.F.E. Scholarships are about LIVING!

As President of the Lupus Inspiration Foundation for Excellence (L.I.F.E.), I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all of the applicants for applying for a merit-based L.I.F.E. Scholarship. You are all "lupus warriors" and your tremendous drive and determination to follow your passion for higher education, despite the daily struggles you face as a college student with lupus. Unfortunately, not every applicant will be announced as a Finalist or awarded a L.I.F.E. Scholarship. However, it is important to remember that all of you are worthy of an award. If you are not selected for this cycle, please consider re-applying, especially if you are announced as a Finalist.

It gives me great pleasure to announce our L.I.F.E. Scholarship Finalist for the academic year of 2022/23 (in no particular order):

The L.I.F.E. Team asks that all Finalists review their name and college for errors and like this announcement. I hope you will share this news with your family, friends, and anyone that has helped you along this chapter of your L.I.F.E. with lupus. The Finalists will also be asked for some additional information to help the L.I.F.E. Scholarship Committee in the difficult review process. Finalists will be considered for the full academic years of 2022/23 as I (Jodi Norton) recover.

The past year has been a challenging one for me personally, but reading your stories provided me with the strength to pull through this difficult time and not give up, even with my body giving up. I am still quite ill, but it is important for me to send you a message of resiliance during the dark days of your illness. You are not alone, we are all in this together.

Congraulations Finalists!

Jodi L. Norton, President of L.I.F.E.
